Member Organisations
The following organisations are accredited members of the InspectWA association. Building inspectors within the association must now be a WA registered builder as a minimum. Applications from engineers and building surveyors are encouraged where applicants demonstrate active involvement in WA building inspections. Association inspectors cover Perth and regional WA. Welcome to The Industry Association of Building and Property Inspectors in WA – Inspect WA. Inspect WA’s vision is to be Western Australia’s peak body representing professional independent building and property inspection businesses.

Expertise
Areas of expertise include General Building Consultancy, Pre-Purchase and Pest Inspections, Litigation Support, Strata Inspection and Dispute Resolution.
Code of Ethics
InspectWA members abide by a strict Code of Ethics which sets our members apart from other inspectors in the building inspection industry with regards to impartiality, honesty and integrity.
InspectWA Code of Ethics
- A member shall act in an impartial, honest manner.
- A member shall not offer services or express opinions beyond their capabilities and qualifications.
- A member shall not offer or receive commissions from any party in conjunction with an inspection of a property by that member.
- A member shall not offer to do work recommended by a member to a Client in a report for a period of at least 12 months after the report is written.
- A member shall disclose a conflict of interest with a client as soon as that conflict becomes apparent.
